# Match Predictor

The *Match Predictor* is an interactive quiz where the goal is to predict the **final result** and the **exact score** of every NBA game. It is active during **every Matchday** and includes all scheduled games.

The objective is to make as many correct predictions as possible and climb the leaderboard.

**HOW TO PLAY**

You can enter or modify your predictions from the moment the Matchday opens until **1 minute before the start** of each individual game.

Even if you join a Matchday that is already in progress, you can still make predictions for games that **have not started yet**.

The quiz supports partial saving, so you can fill in your predictions gradually and come back later to complete or update them.

**GAME PHASES**

Each Matchday goes through the following phases:

* **Quiz Open** — Predictions are active. When a new Matchday opens, you can start playing. You have until the start of each game to make or modify your predictions.
* **Quiz in Progress** — Some games have already started. You can still make changes, but only for games that have not yet started. In the meantime, you can follow the live scores.

**HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED**

Each prediction earns points according to the following rules:

* ✅ **Correct result** (e.g. correctly predicting the winning team): **10 points**
* ❌ **Incorrect prediction**: **0 points**

The total number of points earned across all Matchdays determines your position in the **Overall Leaderboard**.

In the event of a tie, the user who registered on **Dunkest** first will rank higher.
